I feel extremely honoured and privileged to be the Head teacher of Egglescliffe CE Primary School where our children are at the heart of all we do. The needs of the children are always paramount in the life and decision making within a school. through education, we have the gift of inspiring and instilling a ‘love of learning’ which is a life-long legacy. 🌟Enjoy some of the highlights from this busy week 🌟
🌲A huge highlight of the week has to be the lunchtime Den Building at Mrs Upton's Forest School.
🤸♀️Children excelled at creating their own dance sequences from a simple rhythm at After School Club
☘️Year 1 spent time outdoors exploring what makes a plant a plant and had great fun weaving friendship bracelets as part of their Art topic and Share One Book Week theme
🌸Year 3 had fun getting hands on dissecting flowers to understand how they work
🌎Year 5 enjoyed learning about night and day during science
🌤Children enjoyed a mindful moment at lunchtime this week to share how we were feeling using weather imagery
